Loving the moments, living slow and burning through film rolls — that’s my vibe.
About Nicola
I work mostly with 35mm film it forces me to be present, to trust my instinct and to accept imperfection. I don’t chase perfection I look for honesty. Grain, light leaks, and missed focus are part of the story not mistakes.
Travel plays a big role in my work, especially the American landscape. Deserts, empty roads, old cars, and everyday scenes shape the way I see and photograph the world. I’m interested in what happens between destinations, in the pauses, in the stillness.
Photography for me, is a way of remembering. A way to hold onto a feeling, a place, a moment in time. I shoot slowly, intentionally, one frame at a time letting life unfold in front of the lens.
This is how I see the world.
